Cloud backup for config files

OWS automatically stores the configuration settings for Apex recorders (v2.1+), including camera passwords, and allows users to download them from the cloud.

360° Dewarping in the Web Client

Apex Web Client now supports dewarping of fisheye cameras, so users can easily view video from a 360° or 180° camera on a web browser with no additional software to install.

  • Access Alerts

    include the User ID or Username of a cardholder in the alert details and email notifications for quick video verification. Intrusion Alerts include the User ID or Username of the user disarming or arming a panel in email notifications and alert details when available Filter alert history by user name or ID for access and intrusion alert events making it easy to track a specific user to create a timeline. System Summary Report emails now include a summary count of recorders requiring attention in the body of the email. Now users don't need to click through the email to see that everything is ok with their recorders!

Listen & Talk Back in Mobile

OpenEye Mobile supports two-way audio to allow end-users or professional security staff to listen and talk down to individuals seen on camera remotely. Immediately respond to push alerts and provide audible deterrence to would be vandals or provide important information to a delivery driver on site after normal business hours. Users can now also listen to audio when playing back video in search.
