    21:43 BST 13 August

    FT: Derby 2-1 Chesterfield

    Lee Turnbull
Former Chesterfield striker on BBC Radio Sheffield

    Good game of football.

Derby came out of the blocks sharper than Chesterfield. It looked like they were odds on to score first with the amount of possession but then Armando Dobra came up with a bit of magic. Chesterfield then grew into the game.

It was the substitutions in the second half that made the difference; the quality of players like Nathaniel Mendez-Laing that changed the game. When the second goal went in, it was fairly comfortable for Derby to see out the game.

Chesterfield played well and stuck to their principals, they just came up against a better team.

Oliver Hawkins headed in for the Gills late on, but Azeem Abdulai hit the visitors with a sucker punch as they tried to mount a comeback.
