Delta Force: Hawk Ops is a tactical FPS title from TiMi Studio Group. While the game is scheduled to be released sometime this year, you can try it out now through its playtest. Given that it’s a shooting game, high FPS and impressive graphics are crucial. And to get the best experience possible, you’ll need to get the right GPU for it.

The game’s system requirements are fairly low, with the developers recommending an Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD RX 5500XT for decent performance. However, to achieve higher FPS and better visuals, you’ll need a more powerful graphics card.

We’ve reviewed several GPUs and rigorously tested each one to get an idea of their real-life performance. Based on the results, we’ve selected what we think are the best GPUs for Delta Force: Hawk Ops. So, without any further ado, let’s dive into the list!

How we picked

For our lists, we test the GPUs ourselves to find out if they’re worth the money. After all, we don’t want you to end up getting a GPU that only looks good on the outside but is poor when it comes to performance. You can learn more about how we test components to get a better idea about our methods. We also keep different factors in mind while selecting the GPUs, such as price, compatibility, features, design, and performance.

If you want a GPU that can help you run the game smoothly with the graphical settings set to Ultra, we’d recommend the RTX 4070 Ti Super. This GPU packs enough power for demanding games, and you won’t be disappointed with its performance. In our RTX 4070 Ti Super review, it managed to run several titles smoothly at 1440p and 4K.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the RTX 4070 Ti Super packs 16GB of GDDR6X VRAM. With this much memory, you won’t face any issues while adjusting the graphical settings. On top of that, you’ll be able to turn on features that will make the game look visually stunning.

The GPU also boasts 8,448 CUDA cores and a bandwidth of 672.3 GB/s. More CUDA cores generally lead to higher frame rates and smoother gameplay, and the 4070 Ti Super has enough for demanding titles and complex tasks. On the other hand, a 672.3 GB/s bandwidth means that the GPU can quickly fetch textures, models, and other data from VRAM, which reduces bottlenecks and improves performance.

The RTX 4070 Ti Super is a compelling choice, offering added value and 4K gaming capability for less than previous in Nvidia’s lineup.

PC Guide

When it comes to speeds, the RTX 4070 Ti Super has a base frequency of up to 2,340 MHz, which is the minimum speed you can expect from the GPU. However, when extra power is required, the GPU can run at a speed of up to 2,670 MHz. This is activated whenever a demanding task is running, such as gaming or video editing.

To find out the real-life performance of the RTX 4070 Ti Super, we decided to test the GPU in games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Cyberpunk 2077.

In the first game, we were getting 84 FPS at 4K, with everything set to Ultra and 133 FPS at 1440p. On the other hand, in Cyberpunk 2077, the card was able to hit 93 FPS at 1440p, which dropped to 44 when we switched the resolution to 4K. In titles like Rainbow Six Siege and CS2, we were getting 171 and 151 FPS at 4K, respectively.

Overall, we found the RTX 4070 Ti Super to be an excellent card and would definitely recommend it for Delta Force: Hawk Ops.

What users say

On Amazon, most reviewers have only good things to say about the RTX 4070 Ti Super. One of them said: “It does exactly what you need it to. Plays current games on max settings, no heating issues and the brute force computing has saved me from a fair few crashed from unoptimized games.”

We understand that not everyone has a budget of around $1000 to get a high-end card. If you’re currently in the same boat and are looking for something that offers a sweet spot between price and performance, then you’d want to check out the RTX 4060. This is a budget option from Nvidia that is suitable for those who want a card that can deliver decent performance without breaking the bank. In our RTX 4060 review, the card managed to deliver exceptional performance in several games.

To begin with, the RTX 4060 offers 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 128-bit memory bus interface. While this isn’t as much as the first option on our list, you shouldn’t face any memory-related issues if you stick to a lower resolution. Other than that, the GPU has 3,072 CUDA cores, 96 TMUs, and 48 ROPs.

As far as the clock speeds are concerned, the 4060 operates at a base speed of 1,830 MHz, which can go up to 2,460 MHz in demanding tasks like gaming and content creation. As it is not a high-end GPU, it comes with a TDP of only 115W. So, you won’t have to worry about pairing it with a massive PSU.

The Nvidia RTX 4060 is a solid video card for 1080p and 1440p gaming at a good price point.

PC Guide

For our review, we tested the RTX 4060 in multiple games and were not disappointed with its performance. In CS:GO, we were able to get 493 FPS at 1080 and 299 FPS at 1440p. Similarly, in Rainbow Six Siege, we were constantly getting 392 and 241 FPS at 1080p and 1440p, respectively.

We then decided to launch some demanding games to see if this GPU could handle the heat. Without any issues, it was able to run Cyberpunk 2077 smoothly at 1080 with 77 FPS, while the FPS dropped to 48 at 1440p, which was still pretty impressive. In slightly less demanding games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6, the GPU was able to hit 74 and 84 FPS at 1440p, respectively, while the number stayed above 100 at 1080p in both games.

Overall, the 8 GB VRAM, a max frequency of 2,460 MHz, and the ability to run demanding games smoothly make the RTX 4060 the best budget GPU for Delta Force: Hawk Ops.

What users say

On Amazon, most reviewers are satisfied with their purchase, and they are happy with the build quality and performance of the RTX 4060. One of the reviewers mentioned: “It runs great and so far has handled every game I have thrown at it on ultra high. Runs pretty cool under load. The top of the line cards are way out of my budget, but this 4060 gives me really good value.”

How to select the best GPU for this game

Selecting the best GPU isn’t just about going to the market and picking the most expensive model. Instead, there are some factors that you should consider before making a final purchase, and you can find some of them below.

Budget

Your budget is ultimately going to decide the GPU you can get. If budget is not an issue for you, then you can explore options like the RTX 4070 Ti Super, 7800 XT, and so on. And if you have around $2000 to spend on a GPU, then you can even get out the RTX 4090, which is currently the most powerful GPU in the market for gaming.

On the other hand, if you’re tight on a budget or don’t want to overspend on the graphics card, then you can explore budget options like the RTX 4060 or the RX 7600 XT. If you want to explore more options, you can check out our top picks for the best GPUs under $500 and best GPUs under $400.

Monitor resolution

If you have a 1080p monitor with a refresh rate of only 60 Hz, then it will be wise to opt for a budget card, as anything better might be an overall. This is because the budget options, like the RTX 4060, can easily run several games at 1080p with more than 60 FPS.

However, if you own a 1440p or 4K monitor with a high refresh rate or are planning to get one in the near future, then you should definitely opt for at least a mid-range card. For high end options, you can check out our top picks for the best GPUs for 4K 120 Hz and 144 Hz.
